No one likes to be rejected, even if it’s only for participation in an advertising program. This is what I told a subscriber a couple of days ago.
Personally, I wouldn’t be terribly upset about Goggle not accepting you into their advertising program. They have increasingly tight guidelines, and you can be rejected for issues you consider trivial.
There are other advertising revenue options, and you can do some research into them.
Also, as I mentioned in an email before, I would stay away from free content sources. Even if the quality is OK, too many people will be using it and you get into issues of duplicate content.
And the search engines will penalize you for it, unless you take the overall information, rewrite it, injecting your own insights and personality into it. This way, the articles become your original content.
When I looked at your website a couple of days ago, I noticed that you had added a lot of new posts, and I wondered where you were getting so much content.
My advise is that you slow down with your content posting, and that you concentrate on quality, original articles.
You are better off building your blog content slowly over time so you can maintain high quality, and post only original material.
Over time, I learned the advantage of posting only original content. My blog post articles are 100% original, or I won’t post them.
Also, keep in mind that ad revenue is not a very profitable business model for the beginner.
The problem is that you need a HUGE amount of traffic to make it pay off, since you normally earn from a few cents to a few dollars per click, if you’re lucky.
Compare this to promoting affiliate product sales. You can earn good money with a modest amount of traffic if you have a few excellent affiliate products to promote, especially if they are fairly high ticket items.
To find these products you can search ClickBank, JVZoo plus others sources as well. But just these two will provide you good affiliate products to promote.
You do the math… get one affiliate sale for a $75 product, at 75% commission and you’ve earned $56.25 cents, instead of a few cents per click for advertising offers.
Forget advertising revenue… find a few affiliate products that are selling well. They are the ones which have high gravity value on ClickBank.
These affiliate sales provide you the opportunity to make good money even with relatively low traffic to your website. Look for ways to promote affiliate products in your website.
Don’t get discouraged… everyone goes through a learning process in building their online information business.
That’s why you should promote affiliate product offers. You have to try different approaches till you find one you like and works for YOU!
